Mounting position: horizontal with tailstockClamping system SG
The clamping mandrel is designed for milling the external gearing of the workpiece.
Functional description:
The clamping introduction for centring and for face clamping of the workpiece takes place via a moving tailstock. When actuated, a spring-loaded thrust piece is pressed against the clamping bush (system SG) and expands it. Afterwards the tailstock moves to the face of the workpiece and additionally clamps it flat. Release of clamping is again initiated via the drawbar of the machine.Advantages:- Slim design- Optimised chip removal due to the contour of the end stops on both sides- Machining of various workpieces with different lengths due to interchangeable end stops- The clamping element is protected from from soiling thanks to the cover by both end stops.
